Dental Implants
Dental implants (also commonly referred to as dental posts) are used to replace missing teeth by serving as artificial tooth roots. The implant provides a foundation for either a permanent tooth or to retain removable teeth. The implant is made of titanium, just like artificial hips and knees.
Dental Crowns
A dental crown is a tooth-shaped “cap” that is placed over a tooth, to cover the tooth to restore its shape and size, strength, and improve its appearance.
Resin Restorations (White Fillings)
A filling is a way to restore a tooth damaged by decay back to its normal function and shape. All fillings at our office are done with tooth colored composite resin. We may offer offer amalgam (silver) fillings on case by case basis.
Bondings
A bonding is the application of a tooth-colored resin material using adhesives and a high intensity curing light. The procedure gets its name because materials are bonded to the tooth. Bonding is typically used for cosmetic purposes to improve the appearance of a discolored or chipped tooth.

Invisalign
Invisalign is a set of custom made, clear, plastic trays that are placed in the mouth to help move teeth. It is like having braces that you can take off to eat, brush, and floss.
Veneers
Are ultra-thin shells of ceramic (porcelain) or a composite resin material, which are bonded to the front of teeth. Veneers can be the ideal choice for improving the appearance of the front teeth.
Dentures (Partial and Full)
Are removable appliances that can replace missing teeth and help restore your smile.
Bridges
Dental bridges literally bridge the gap created by one or more missing teeth. A bridge is made up of two crowns one on each tooth on either side of the gap. These two anchoring teeth are called abutment teeth, and a false tooth/teeth are placed in between.

Patient Reviews

"I was upset when Dr. Dukes retired because he was the best dentist. But I must say that Dr. Zahir is excellent. Very thorough and explained everything to me. I am facing some dental work and she made me feel informed and prepared. And the new office manager was very sweet and was able to answer all my questions. When a problem occurred with my insurance she quickly solved the problem. Thank you to the whole staff. Everyone is 5 stars!"

Cathy C.

"I felt very good about my initial experience with Dr Zahir, she was very thorough and took the time to explain to me the issues my exam exposed. she took extra pictures so I could see for myself on the computer screen. She made her recommendations and suggested time frame which I was comfortable with. As I was leaving the appointment, I was surprised to see that she is also a licensed periodontist which saves me a trip to specialist. Dr Zahir was very professional and pleasant to deal with."

Dan F.

"My dental cleaning was thorough and complete, including fluoride treatment. This was my first visit with Dr Zahir, and I found her to be very professional and attentive to my dental needs. I would gladly recommend this practice to others looking for a family dental practice."

Robert G.

"My first visit with Dr. Zahir resulted in having a procedure that I was completely not expecting. She listened intently to my concerns and she was thorough in her explanation of what was involved with the procedure and even offered to do it while I was there. It was painless as she and Jan fully explained to me beforehand and throughout the procedure they checked often to be sure I was good. The staff goes out of their way to ease your mind. Thank you!"
